Bernie and her Adoring Fans

Bernie has had a few visitors during her first month. Here's a little recap:

Cousin Todd and his daughter Allison were among the first to visit Bernie in the hospital.

Of course Grandma and Grandpa Sparks were there. We went out for Breakfast on Sunday morning not knowing that Bernie was going to arrive the very next day!

Aunt Melissa isn't exactly a visitor since we are living in her house :-) But we get to spend a lot of quality time together none-the-less.

Grandma has spent a lot of time with Bernie during her first month giving me some much needed time off to take care of myself and start doing homework again.

Seeing my dad meet Bernie was pretty cool. They really hit it off! We can't wait for him to visit again.

John and Jodie even made it up for a weekend. John couldn't work up the courage to hold little Bernie. She's hoping that over Thanksgiving he'll give it a whirl.

GREAT Grandma and Grandpa came up for the weekend. They were a great help, carefully splitting their time between youngest grandson Griffin and their very first great grandchild.

The whole cohort has met Bernie now! Auntie Court was the first!

Auntie Courtney has hung out with Bernie 3 times! Once in the hospital when she was still brand new and she has made the trip up to Wisconsin twice. We LOVE her visits. It's especially nice for me because I don't get to hang out with friends much anymore. Thanks Auntie Courtney!

Last time Courtney came up Jan'l came with her! We planned on doing homework but spent most of the time chit chatting and adoring little Bernie.

Last Thursday Tony and I brought Bernie to Chicago and she was able to meet Na'm and...

The purpose of the Chicago trip was so Bernie could meet uncle Lucas, which she did, but I didn't get a picture! We also made a very impromptu trip to Iowa City where Bernie met Aunt Kibby but again no picture! Next weekend we are making an official trip to Iowa City where she'll be meeting a lot more people including Aunt Kaye, Uncle Ryan and Cousin Jack.
