Britt and I went thrifting today to try and find some treasures. We found 4 really awesome chairs for the dining room table. We put together a shelf that I brought and decided to use it as a TV stand. Then, I did some cleaning and a little more decorating, just working with what little we both have! It feels good to travel light, but we're going to need some more stuff if we want to turn this house into a home. Slowly, but surly.
I took a picture of the sun setting from our back porch and then my neighbor Genesis paid me a visit.
I'm settling in nicely. I already feel more comfortable in Chicago than I ever did in DC.
