The leaves are changing colors and falling to ground. Sunday was lovely. I kept the back door open all day. The main event of was Courtney's burgeoning vegan family dinner. I made vegan pumpkin whoopie pies using this recipe. (click away!) Courtney made fried sweet and sour tofu with broccoli and jasmine rice. The dinner was delicious! The cookies turned out well, but I definitely missed the taste of real butter and real cream cheese. After dinner we went to an improv show featuring Courtney's friend Joshua. Someday soon I'll snap some good photos of Courtney and Joshua so everyone can put faces to names.
