There were a lot of things that I could have photographed today. I spent the afternoon downtown with my Mom. We shopped up and down State Street. I haven't been tempting myself with such treasures. There were a lot of things that I wanted to take home with me, but I left them at their respective stores.
In the evening Courtney and I went to a free Opera performed by masters students at the Chicago College of Performing Arts. Chris Fritz's boyfriend Jared, was a featured vocalist. It was my first Opera and I must say I was impressed! Afterwards we walked over to Clark's, a 24 hour diner. Jared and I ate breakfast, Courtney and Fritz ate burgers. What a perfect Chicago day!
